The IT team is seeking a motivated and client-focused intern to support the user experience and adoption of Microsoft tools by Murex collaborators. We are taking a people-first approach to technology adoption and the user experience.  

You will assist by writing guidance articles, recording help videos, drafting “tech tips” communications to Murex collaborators, and making recommendations to improve the user experience.  

 

The primary focus of this role is to enhance employee engagement and adoption in using information technology tools. 

As part of the IT team, you will help drive business results through effective, creative, and consistent communications. You will need to be creative and able to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment. 

 

You will support in multiple and varied internal and corporate projects at the same time: 

 

  • Collaborate with IT and Communication professionals to develop internal employee communications. 

  • Assist in creating new and exciting multi-media communications. 

  • Design company-wide communications using a variety of media, such as video, intranet, graphics, email, PowerPoint, … 

  • Compose team’s monthly newsletter 

  • Review existing documentation for the IT tools and identify gaps within and across tech tools 

  • Draft how-to articles and guidance on when to use tools and features 

  • Develop and record training videos to support more visual users 

  • Post “tech tips” for users to better learn existing and new tool features 

  • Explore tool functionalities and help identify most efficient solution to user needs 

  • Gather employee pain points and requirements 

  • Work to drive adoption of current and new IT tools 

 

 

 

Your profile :

 

Student in Bachelor or Master’s degree in business, computer science, communications or related major looking for an internship from 3 to 6 months. 

 

  • Technical savvy with an interest in Information Technology 

  • Strong creative, graphic design, and video editing skills 

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal communication skills) 

  • Proficient in using design and video-editing software (PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, After Effect) 

  • Positive working attitude, enthusiastic team player, good at collaborating 

  • Fast learner, self-starter with a pro-active attitude 

  • Strong focus on client or user support 

  • Good organization skills and time management 

  • Creative communicator using different media – writing, video, and visuals 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
