Team & Context

The product marketing team expresses clearly the value of the Murex product offering to potential buyers. 

It assists the product and sales teams in developing value propositions well adapted to the needs of the market. 

The nature of product marketing involves collaboration with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders to tell the stories around how the Murex product offering serves the needs of its 57,000 users every day. 

These include product managers, pre-sales & sales people and client managers within Murex. Key external stakeholders include systems integrators, technology and risk advisor partners, research analysts, prospects and clients. 

Product marketing is at the bridge where the rich Murex software product offering is aligned to serve a multitude of clients’ needs. 






Your missions

  • Develop compelling sales and marketing supports from product roadmaps to competitive battle cards and client case studies.

  • Develop clear and impactful messaging for various promotional assets (videos, published articles, whitepapers) that expresses clearly and impact the value brought.

  • Communicate the Murex value proposition to clients, partners and industry analysts through presentations, in person or pre-recorded for digital channels.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to adapt the value propositions to target market segments and buyer personas for new and existing offerings.

  • Follow the investment management landscape around a set of offerings and harness the sharing of intelligence internally




Your profile

  • 7+ years experience in capital buy-side arena either as a business role at an investment management player (insurance, asset management, asset servicers, etc.) or a consultant specialized consultant, or an employee of a fintech dedicated to investment management. 

  • Deep market knowledge of at least one of the following areas: portfolio management, trading and order management, investment compliance, performance and risk management, instrument valuation, regulatory topics, such as Solvency II or PRIIPS.

  • Autonomous, self-driven working approach working collaboratively on multiple projects concurrently.  

  • Excellent writing skills in English and presentation skills to inhouse and external audiences (industry and partner events, client events, webinars) 

  • Excellent collaborative skills with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders. 

  • Experience of contributing “thought leadership” content e.g. presentation, article or video for an external audience. 

  • Strong grounding in the technology enablers of capital markets and investment management platforms, including systems architecture, the technology stack, market infrastructure connectivity and integration, data flows and data management preferred. 

  • Functional knowledge of a trading, treasury or investment management software system in at least one business domain.
