Murex’s growing product and services ambitions require a strategic focus on Infrastructure services enabling internal product development and delivery processes as well as driving the strategic evolution towards SaaS offerings for clients.

The strategic direction is to realize economic advantage to the services provided by capitalizing on virtualization and cloud-based technologies as well as employee productivity and engineering excellence.

Scope, mission, and objectives

• Manage IT Infrastructure, SaaS Operations and Information security teams
  • Manage highly technical, specialized senior personnel
  • Ensure department resources are properly allocated.
     
• Build and manage relationships with infrastructure and service providers. Work with vendors for evaluation of off-the-shelf infrastructure technologies and services, maintain vendor relationships, and negotiate suitable contracts in partnership with the legal team and procurement team.
   
• Directs, manages, develops and oversees budget; ensures activities are appropriately funded, coordinated and managed to enable business growth.
   
• Focus on optimizing cost of infrastructure and infrastructure operations for SaaS services
  • Leverage multiple partner relationship for better negotiation power and flexibility
  • Leverage cloud technology to maximize infrastructure usage and reduce cost
  • Leverage cost competitive locations for infrastructure as a service operations

• Develop cost effective infrastructure as a infrastructure services activities in all countries where MX is deployed, taking into account specific country or region regulations and constraints (ex. China)

• Ensure synergy between multiple SaaS offerings for efficiency and cost effectiveness
   
• Ensure Information Security roadmap aligned with Murex strategy exists and follow-up its execution across the organization

Required skills

• Proven track record of developing a technology vision aligned with the business needs
  • managing and leading a large IT Department
  • managing infrastructure for large SaaS offerings, with a customer facing role as a plus
  • managing partners and providers relationship including public and private Cloud providers
• Minimum of ten years' experience in a senior IT leadership role, with responsibility for budgets, visionary leadership and security/compliance.
• Proven history of change management & driving efficiencies is a plus.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills in order to effectively communicate with cross region business stakeholders as well as vertical technology experts.
• Very good English is a must
• Frequent travels across Murex offices
