Murex V.I.E program is an opportunity for young talent between the ages of 18 and 28 graduated from a higher education institution, who are citizens of the European Economic Area, to work with Murex in our Dublin and Nicosia offices for a duration of 12 to 24 months. The Testing team applies the Murex test processus to ensure a client instance meets its quality objectives within time, cost and risks constraints with a strong focus on test automation build and test execution.

 

Your Role

 

As a test engineer you will:

 

Test Scoping and Design 

  • Contribute to the test scoping sessions for different types and levels (functional, non-functional and non-regression test cases, NFT) 
  • Ensure availability of the testware (environments, TMS, test data…) 
  • Ensure that test cases are well designed and documented in accordance with the test strategy and test execution strategy guidelines and predefined templates 
  • Participate and contribute to test automation design discussions to ensure a proper understanding of requested configurations 
  • Conduct the Murex test automation tools training and knowledge transfer to Murex project team and client/SI 
  • Promote automation best practices 
  • Follow-up with Test Product Management team on correction and enhancement features 

 

Test Build, Automation and Execution 

  • Automate functional and non-functional test cases to cover different aspects of the application scope 
  • Execute automated test cases and logs results 
  • Perform root cause analysis for encountered incidents related to automated tests execution 
  • Deliver continued reporting on automated tests execution, in line with project timelines 
  • Guide the client on automation best practices, including reviewing client packages, and suggesting further developments/extensions  
  • Deliver capitalization report on project automated tests that can feed the generic/reusable automated test packages 
  • Contribute to the test closure activities: Test completion check – Test artifacts archival/handover – Test KPIs – Retrospective/Lessons learned 

 

MXtest General Support (Projects/Production) 

  • Follow on the evolution of the automated test package accelerators, and follow up on test package capitalization from projects and support activities 
  • Follow on the Murex test automation tools CBRs 
  • Support and assist other domains on test expertise and automation aspect 
  • Support the client/SI project team on Murex test automation tools usage, and write/publish related Support Articles 

 

  • Use Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items and analyze related issues 
  • Apply the configuration management methodologies   

 

Conversion of a customer database 

 

  • Perform database sanitization and purging procedures 
  • Migration sequence execution and stabilization 
  • Reconciliation mismatch production 
  • Follow up on migration defects  

 

Setting Methodologies and Procedures 

 

  • Contribute in creating the environment and configuration management methodologies, conversion processes, communication workflows and needed templates and documentations 
  • Customize and document the installation and the conversion/upgrade procedures 
  • Deliver needed trainings and best practices for Murex Clients and project teams 
  • Manage internal streams: contribute in creating tools, measure related KPIs and analyze potential issues
