Job Purpose

Murex is looking for a strong results-oriented leader who can manage multiple projects with tight deadlines, while leading a multiple disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a good understanding of capital markets and is a demonstrated leader and problem solver with excellent communication skills.

 

 Academic training

•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Financial engineering, industrial engineering, Mathematics, Computers Science or Information Systems management Systems (Not exclusive)

Languages (level)

Advanced English and Spanish (Exclusive) French or Portuguese are a plus

Type of work experience

•Experience in the Capital Markets sector

•Good knowledge of the different financial instruments (derivatives, fixed income, money market)

•Good knowledge of the treasury process: trading, sales, Back Office operations, Risk management

•Experience in implementing treasury systems such as Calypso, Murex, Kondor, Algorithmics or similar either as part of the Software Vendor, or as part of the System integrator team (Exclusive)

•Good knowledge of implementation methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall with a deep understanding of the different project stages under both methodologies

•Prior experience executing a project management/team lead role where had exposure to estimations, schedules elaboration, and monitoring and control, budget tracking, Risks control and monitoring for a full implementation

•Prior experience in pre-sales activities: RFI/RFP fulfillment, proposals creation, procurement negotiations, procurement SOW elaboration

•Familiar with the PMBOOK knowledge areas and project management processes (desirable)

•PMP certification (desirable)

•Customer focus

•Good communication skills, both written and verbal

•Good conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation soft skills
