The candidate will be based in Dublin but work on an international team involved in the development of the new User Interfaces standard for our developer community. You should be truly passionate about the Web and want to work in a dynamic team looking for new technical knowledge. The candidate will work with multiple stakeholders across the organization so communication skills are an essential aspect of this role.

 

Start date: January 2023

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Development: Ability to develop high-quality, testable and maintainable code with best-practice design.
  • Team spirit & work practices: Motivation, initiative to work within a team (willing to improve work practices)
  • Learning: Ability to learn new technologies, development practices and patterns.
  • Willingness to travel periodically when required for planning activities
  • Technologies: Advantageous to have experience in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular2, React or Polymèr
  • SAFe: Experience developing in a SAFe agile train.

 

Professional/Academic

 

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Maths / Software Engineering
  • Leaving Certificate (or equivalent)
  • 2 years’ industry experience
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with Angular2, React or Polymèr
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, for example, Scrum or Kanban.
  • Fluent English is essential

  • Ability to prioritize tasks, to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Ability to work on both short-term and long-term projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem solving skills
