The Financial Control Team’s main responsibility is to analyze the functional requirements of the middle and back offices of financial institutions regarding the control of derivative products such as equities, interest rates, credit, FX commodities, and fixed income. As a financial control consultant, you will perform the following duties:
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or related field
1-3 years of customer service and support experience or relevant experience
An understanding of the financial markets, methods of calculation, and closing of financial results on a wide range of instruments and recommendations of major international institutions (European Central Bank, Federal Reserve Bank)
Good knowledge of financial derivative products and their lifecycle
A detailed understanding of the middle office (control activity) and the process of calculating results, validation of transactions, confirmations, and management of payments and accounting
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Fluency in Spanish
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Experience with relevant technical environments (XML, XLS, SQL, Solaris, command-based operating systems)
Experience with all aspects of the development lifecycle
